It was announced yesterday that the minimum hourly Adult and Youth rates will increase.

• The Adult rate will increase from $13.50 to $13.75
• The Youth rate will increase from $10.80 to $11.80

The Youth Rate can apply to:

• Employees aged between 16 and 17
• Those who have done less than 200 paid hours, or worked less than 3 months in the workforce (not necessarily with the same employer).

As these are statutory changes we will automatically increase all rates from April 1st, 2013.  If your pay crosses over the two tax years and you want to split the hours, then you will need to send us two timesheets (not those using the Daily Timesheets or providing Daily Hours)), clearly showing which hours are in each tax period.
