The accrual of annual leave is very important both for the employee and the employer.  The employee wants to be assured they are receiving the correct amount of days  and the employer wants to be assured they are not paying too much.   For all employees on a permanent contract we need to know the number of days they work per week as this determines the number of days they accrue each year.  If  the hours they work varies on the days they work  then this is okay as this just means their daily rate will reflect average number of hours each day.  If you have a new employee on a permanent basis then please ensure you advise us of the number of days they work per week. If this changes please let us know so the correct accrual will reflect the hours worked.
